Who Is Kim Bolan From The Real Scoop?

Kim Bolan is a crime writer and reporter for The Vancouver Sun who has been working there for years since 1984. She mostly reports real scoop news happening around the globe.

Real Scoop means something that is happening at the moment or something that has just happened. And Kim is most popular as a blog writer in “The Real Scoop” section of Vancouver Sun.

On May 24, she published an article titled “REAL SCOOP: Anatomy of a gangland hit,” the topic of the bloodbath between two heavily armed gangs across the Lower Mainland.

Furthermore, her blogs and articles have become so influential that even politicians are afraid of what she writes. In an attempt to insert a portion of a Kim article into the Canadian House of Commons’ record in February 2007, Prime Minister Stephen Harper sparked “a political storm.”

Moreover, 2005 saw the release of Kim Bolan’s debut book, “Loss of Faith: How the Air-India Bombers Got Away With Murder.” The Times of India reported in her book in 2007 that she continued to get death threats over her reportage of the 1985 Air India bombing.

The Married Life of The Reporter – Husband and Partner

“My husband doesn’t control me, controls money in the household.”, Kim Bolan tweeted back in 2013 about his husband. This slightly hinted that the 63-year-old reporter is, in fact, a married woman.

That is probably the one and only time she ever addressed her husband on social platforms or anywhere in the media. Aside from that, she has never spoken about him in any of her conversations with the media outlets.

She has not disclosed her marital status in any interviews or on social media accounts. As daring as The Vancouver Sun’s investigative reporter Kim Bolan displays in her reporting on criminal incidents, she has chosen to keep quiet in her private life.
