Kimilili's Didmus Barasa is a member of parliament is wanted by Bungoma County police for reportedly killing the aide to Brian Khaemba, his opponent.

On a Democratic Action Party of Kenya (DAP-K) ticket, Mr. Khaemba ran against Barasa for the Kimilili MP seat. Around six o'clock, he headed to the Chebukwabi polling place to see the ballots being counted.

Didmus Barasa And His Family Details

Former military officer and politician from Kenya is named Didmus Wekesa Barasa (Kenya Defense Forces technical wing). He has served as the Kimilili constituency's representative in parliament since 2017.

Shortly after leaving the Jubilee Party in 2021, he joined the United Democratic Alliance party. He previously belonged to The Jubilee Party, United Democratic Forum, and Amani Peace Coalition (2013–2016).

He did not sponsor a bill during his first stint in the legislature. His electrical and electronics engineering bachelor's degree is from Jomo Kenyatta University of Agriculture and Technology.

It claims that before shooting his opponent, DAP-Kenya candidate Brian Khaemba, Barasa told him not to leave the area.
