Luke Fickell Wife Amy Fickell Has A Degree Of Physical Therapy

Luke Fickell married his beautiful wife Amy Fickell in 2000 and they have been together for 22 blissful years. Luke and Amy have six children.

The former player turned coach who recently replaced Paul Chryst as Wisconsin’s head coach met his wife when she was a sophomore at Ohio State University. They date for a couple of years before tying the knot and starting a family. 

The Fickells have welcomed six beautiful kids over the two decades of their married life, and Luke’s profession and Amy’s love for college athletics have influenced their children to pursue sports from a young age. Their eldest son Landon Fickell plays college football for Cincinnati Bearcats, and their only daughter Luca Fickell plays volleyball for Indiana University.

Luke Fickell and his wife, Amy Fickell, are college sweethearts, having met and dated while attending Ohio State.

The couple, who fell in love while they were young and working on their careers, tied the knot in 2000, and they have been together for 22 blissful years. The college sweethearts stood together in tough times, celebrated good times, and never gave up on each other.

Amy graduated from Ohio State with a physical therapy degree and was into college football before getting into a relationship with her husband. Luke’s wife spent weekends watching OSU games, and she would attend the match not as the former player’s girlfriend but like every other fan, enjoying the game.

Moreover, the OSU graduate once made headlines for a pizza delivery incident where the delivery guy reportedly cracked a joke to her, and the next day he got fired. While Mrs. Fickell ordered a pizza in 2012 through a call at Iacono’s in Shawnee Hills, the employee cracked a joke about the Buckeye’s defense only to lose his job.

Luke Fickell Shares Six Children With Amy Fickell 

Amy Fickell has blessed Luke Fickell with six children. The pair have given life to a daughter and five sons.

The head football coach of the University of Wisconsin has two pairs of twins, Aydon and Ashton and Layton and Lucian. Likewise, Landon is his eldest son, and Luca is his only daughter.

The Fickell family went to Florida vacation in 2020 to spend quality time after covid took a toll on the world. Furthermore, Amy is the backbone of the family as she disciplines her babies while her husband is busy making money. Moreover, Luke’s profession has influenced his kids to get into sports early, and Landon and Luca are now college athletes.

Landon Fickell Is A Offensive Lineman At Cincinnati Bearcats

Landon, the son of a former nose guard, turned coach, plays football as an offensive lineman for Cincinnati Bearcats.

The athlete commited to playing the sport at the University of Cincinnati. His dad served as a head coach at Cincinnati before joining the University of Wisconsin on the 24th of April 2020.

Furthermore, he spent his high school career under Coach Mark Elder at Archbishop Moeller HS and became a three-star o-line product. Moreover, the athlete has received many honors and was named the GCL Co-Offensive Lineman of the Year.

Fickell is a health scientist who wants to attend a med school, depending on how football works. Additionally, his dream job is to be a doctor or own a business.

Luca Fickell Plays Volleyball For Indiana 

Luca comes from an athletic family, with her dad being a former player and a head coach and her brother a collegiate footballer.

She plays volleyball as a setter standing  6-feet-1-inch tall, and Indiana University coach Steve Aird chose her as the additional recruit in the 2023 class on the 17th of November, 2022.

Moreover, Fickell played club volleyball for Tri-State Elite and spent her high school career at St. Ursula Academy, recording 698 assists, 249 digs, and 253 kills. Luca chose Indiana University because of the gym’s competitive atmosphere and the family-like culture that the coaches, staff, and players have created.
