Lydia Norriss Johnson Is Keen On Racing
Lydia Johnson, the younger daughter of Jimmie Johnson, has expressed her interest in racing to her parents. During a break from IndyCar, Johnson takes his daughter Lydia for racing.
Lydia made her first trip with her father to a local racetrack. She competed in a dirt bike Supercross-style race with Jimmie.
Many of Johnson's former NASCAR rivals, including Kyle Busch, Kevin Harvick, Clint Bowyer, and others, have already started mentoring their children as they begin their racing careers.
Since Lydia shares her father's love of sporting, it appears that Johnson has taken on the role of mentor. Johnson and Chandra, his wife, were slow-playing it to see if their younger child was interested in racing.
When they finally did, Johnson was ecstatic to take his daughter to the track. Lydia, who is just getting started, is supported and guided by her father, one of the greatest NASCAR drivers.
