The former American football running back Lattimore wed Miranda Bailey, the girl he had a crush on since they were in high school, on December 19, 2015.

However, there have been no reports of the couple having any kids, even after seven years of marriage. His nuptials came a year after the American football legend announced his retirement in 2014. 

Lattimore joined the San Francisco 49ers in 2013 and played for a season with the club before giving his rest to his boots in 2014.

Following his retirement, he took some coaching classes. Just a few days before his marriage with his high school sweetheart Miranda Bailey, Marcus made headlines when he joined the South Carolina Gamecocks coaching staff under head coach Will Muschamp.

The Duncan native, Lattimore, married his high school sweetheart, the beautiful Miranda Bailey, on December 19, 2015. The wedding ceremony and celebration for the couple’s nuptials took place in the Lace Home, a historic house located on the grounds of the South Carolina Governor’s Mansion.

The couple said that officers with the Nebraska State Patrol wrongly convicted them of being involved with smuggling after they were pulled over near the town of Kimball, which is located in Nebraska.

The event occurred in March 2020 on Wednesday morning as the couple drove back to their residence in Columbia, South Carolina, after spending the previous week in Las Vegas, Nevada.

Marcus Lattimore Founded Foundation For Child Care

American football coach Marcus Lattimore and his wife Miranda Bailey are yet to have any children together. 

Marcus founded the “Marcus Lattimore Foundation” a youth development program for children who are interested in sports but could not afford them.

Not only that It offers programs that provide an emphasis on principles, character development, the acquisition of life skills, educational opportunities, recreational opportunities, and overall health and well-being.

In 2016 Lattimore opened a First Choice Fit camp at Carolina Forest High School and insist every parent bring their children to the free fitness camp. Following his retirement, Marcus Lattimore, a former RB for the San Francisco 49ers decided to dedicate his time to helping children in South Carolina.

He said fitness is the main factor that contributes to an athlete’s long-term success. Though he had to retrieve back from his career due to injuries, he wants the children of Carolina to be fit and all well, and hence they do not have to experience what he went through.

Moreover, the 31-year-old also makes occasional trips to children’s hospitals, where he spends time with the patients, provides them with presents and sweets, and plays with them.
