Martin Hyde is an American politician who represents the Republican Party. 

He is currently a candidate to become the Congressman for Florida’s 16th Congressional District. A controversial figure, the UK immigrant, is infamous for his aggressive/violence-inducing statements and several domestic violence allegations.

Best known as the President of the company named Gulf Business Systems, Martin is a former soccer player-turned-businessman-turned-politician.

Martin Hyde was previously married to a wife named Martyna Laciak.

Before moving to the states, Martin was a professional soccer player for a few years. 

Martin’s soccer career was relatively short, and he was for teams like Hove Alboin and Brighton from 1982 to 1983. He later played for Southhampton FC for a year from 1983 to 1984.

Hyde’s sporting career was cut short in 1984 as he started working as a Managing Director/Sales Manager for a London-based company named Copyforce Limited. He remained employed with the company until moving to Sarasota, Florida, in 1999.

The politician doesn’t talk much about his soccer career or his life before moving to the US. Perhaps, he is well-adopted to his new country, where he is making a mark as a Republican.

Martin Hyde Death Threats Against FBI Agents

Marin Hyde is currently making headlines after he accused FBI agents of murder. 

While referring to the search done on former President Donald Trump by federal agents, Martin claimed that the officers would return in a body bag if they tried the same with him.

Martin tried justifying his statement stating that he would commit the actions only if the FBI acted politically motivated. His statement received a reaction from the internet. While many suggested his words to be harmless, others expressed their concern about Martin’s possible violent behavior.

Martin Hyde is a Christian by religion. However, unlike many Republicans, he is not a deeply religious person. 

Martin’s parents were originally from the UK and based in London. His father initially wanted him to become a soccer player, but Martin abandoned sports after playing for a few years. Time and again, Hyde has accused his father of wishing to live off his money if he became a soccer star.
