Who Is Matthew Foldi? Republican Candidate For Congress And Maryland’s 6th Congressional District Bio Explained

Foldi was born on August 3, 1996, in Maryland, the USA making him 25 years old as of June 2022. Some of the largest revelations have sparked several Congressional investigations he broke about the Biden Administration’s misconduct. He claims his political journey was motivated by his religious education, like many other Jewish candidates for public office.

The multi-million dollar relationship between Energy Secretary Jennifer Granholm and an electric vehicle manufacturer receiving government benefits and Chinese Communist Party control in the Commerce Department were both revealed by Matthew at the Washington Free Beacon.

He also learned that elected Democrats keep their constituents out of their offices. On FOX News and Newsmax, his reporting has been heavily featured.

Mathew is receiving support from every direction for the election of July 19, including his mother, Bonnie Glick, and father, Paul S. Foldi. They are actively working to promote their son’s political campaign. He also shares a special bond with his grandmother, who is very old. He occasionally posts about his family members on Instagram. 

Since his high school years, Matthew has been a prominent conservative leader in Maryland and was named Maryland’s Young Republican of the Year in 2015. He has held the position of Chair before and is currently the Vice President of the Montgomery County GOP Club and the Montgomery County Young Republicans.

Matthew, a Rockville Volunteer Fire Department member, is well-known in the neighborhood and works as an ambassador for Points for Patriots. This organization aims to reduce the gap between the military and civilian populations. Additionally, he serves as an elected board member of Speech First, a group that defends the right to free speech on college campuses.

Before facing the Democrat, Foldi must succeed in the Republican primary on Tuesday. Republican leaders from across the country have endorsed Foldi. Nevertheless, he falls behind rival Maryland House of Delegate Neil Parrott in fundraising.

Although Foldi is not averse to extreme criticism of Democrats, he often steers clear of the cultural war themes that some of his supporters emphasize. He doesn’t seem to have made any statements in the media about recent rulings by the Supreme Court that restricted access to abortion and increased gun ownership in the United States.

He has been evasive on election integrity issues, telling The Post that President Joe Biden won Maryland in the 2020 election but declining to say whether Biden won the election overall. He has also been deceptive on whether he would have accepted the electoral vote count on January 6, 2021.
