McKayla Maroney has two siblings named Tarynn Maroney and Kav Maroney in the family.
The retired artistic gymnast is 27 years old. She was born as the first child in 1995, and her parents blessed her with a younger brother when she was two in 1997. Kav turned 24 on the 25th of September 2022, and Tarynn celebrated her 16th birthday on the 28th of August 2022.

McKayla Maroney Brother Kav Played Collegiate Football
McKayla’s brother Kav Maroney is also an athlete and spent his college career at Cerritos College.
Kav played football and ran track and field for the Cerritos Falcons in 2019 and 2020. He played as a 6 feet and 4 inches tall wide receiver for the Falcons while weighing 220 lbs.
Before that, he was a Long Beach Wilson High School graduate and had spent his red-shirt season at El Camino College Football in 2018. Furthermore, while attending Long Beach, the former footballer was a two-time CIF All-Academic Award recipient.
Moreover, he worked on a double major in Liberal Arts while studying for his degree, and the former athlete loves playing sports and video games. Maroney is also into anime; his favorite tv show is Naruto, and his favorite movie is Creed 2.
McKayla Belongs To An Atheltic Family
McKayla is not the only athlete in her family. The entire Maroneys have a history with sports.
Her father, Mike Maroney, was a football player who played as a quarterback for Purdue University. Likewise, her mom Erin Maroney was a figure skater during high school.
Her mother signed her up for gymnastics when she was two, and she was always comfortable in the gym from a tender age. Furthermore, the retired gymnast wanted to compete in the Olympics when she was 17 in 2012 and became an Olympic gold medalist the same year.
The former athlete is proud of her youngest sister Tarynn who runs track and field. However, the retired gymnast and her family miss her dad, who sadly passed away at 59 in 2019, and she always pays him tribute on his birthday and father’s day through her Instagram.
