Mia King, a 12-year-old girl from Huntsville, Alabama, has gone missing since Thursday, and police officials are seeking public assistance to locate the missing girl.

Mia was last seen on July 21 leaving her school and has gone missing since then. Her parents informed the police after the child did not return back home from school.

According to the latest worldwide missing children statistics, more than 800,000 child cases have been filed in the US each year. Every 40 seconds, a child goes missing or is abducted in the United States.

Although the majority of missing or abducted child reports are solved within a few hours, many include circumstances in which a child disappears permanently or for a considerable amount of time.

Mia King, a 12-year-old Hurtsville School student, has gone missing since July 21 and has not been yet found. Police are appealing for the public’s help to find the missing girl, Mia.

On July 21, at about 2.30 p.m., Mia King, 12, was last seen leaving her school on Kenwyn Street. Officers from the Campsie Police Area Command were alerted when she failed to come home and could not be reached by family or friends.

They then started looking into her whereabouts. Mia is characterized as having long brown hair, a 170cm build, and a Caucasian appearance. She was donning the blue shirt and navy shorts that were part of her Georges River College uniform.

Mia’s tender age raises grave concerns about her wellbeing. She is rumored to frequent Hurstville and the neighborhood.

The parents and family of Mia King have created a GoFundMe page to collect funds to help in the search for the missing girl. Her family and friends are shocked and saddened by the sudden disappearance of Mia.

There has not been any progress in finding Mia till now. The police officials have formed a search party to find Mia or any evidence which might aid in the search.

Mia’s whereabouts are unknown, however, anyone with information is requested to call either the Campsie Police Station or Crime Stoppers at 1-800-333-TIPS.
