Rashida Jones, the president of the cable news network MSNBC, has recently been featured heavily on the internet because she decided to fire Tiffany Cross from the channel.

After Fox News pundit Tucker Carlson and his network started attacking Tiffany Cross, MSNBC abruptly canceled the Saturday morning news program.

More than 40 Colour leaders wrote to MSNBC President Rashida Jones to express their displeasure at the cancellation of The Cross Connection With Tiffany Cross. Many requested a meeting to discuss a course of action that would restore the cable news host's image and dignity.

They expressed their disappointment at the network for abruptly canceling Cross's show days before the midterm elections, mainly because many Republicans are preparing to challenge the results if they lose.

Meet Rashida Jones Former Husband, Edward Fisher

MSNBC President Rashida Jones met her former husband, Edward Fisher, at Hampton University. They are parents to two kids.

Fisher graduated from The Catholic University of America's Columbus School of Law with a law degree. He later graduated from Hampton University with a bachelor's degree in business management, where he met his ex-wife.

He works for American University as an executive in community and government relations. He oversees the university's interactions with the surrounding towns, the federal and District of Columbia governments, and the area. Fisher is crucial to AU's new strategic plan's implementation and the plan's requirement to increase the university's regional engagement.

Rashida's ex-husband formerly held the position of director of community affairs for CareFirst BlueCross BlueShield, where he created and put into practice plans for corporate philanthropy and contributions to the community. Previously, Rdward served in several executive capacities in the District of Columbia Council, including chief of staff, committee director, and legislative counsel.

Holding one of the most prestigious positions in the American Cable industry, she is very professional in her interviews and barely speaks about her personal life.

Thus, she has never mentioned details about her first encounter with Fisher or any special moment while together. They shared their marital life for six years and eventually separated because of a personal dispute.
