What We Know About Nate Lashley Girlfriend Ashlie Reed, Are The Couple Still Together?

Nate Lashley is currently dating Ashley Reed. They have been seen together in different golf events. They were seen hugging on the 18th green in Detroit after winning the Rocket Mortgage Classic golf tournament.

Nate Lashley, a Scottsbluff, Nebraska native is a 38 years old professional golfer who competes on the PGA Tour. He turned professional in 2005 and joined the Nationwide Tour in 2006. 

Before qualifying for the PGA Tour Latinoamerica in 2015, he competed for several years playing mini-tours and selling real estate. That season, he finished 8th on the money list 2015 with five top-10 finishes. 

The following year, he won three events along with the Player of the Year award. That season led the money list which earned him a Web.com card for 2017.

Nate Lashley’s parents died in a plane crash. Nate Lashley was a 21-year-old junior at the University of Arizona. He traveled to Oregon for an NCAA regional. His parents, Rod and Char Lashley flew from their home in Nebraska to watch him play, and they were accompanied by his girlfriend, Leslie Hofmeister. 

After the final round, they boarded a small plane piloted by Rod. After that, when Nate tried to contact Rod over the phone but did not get any answer. FAA tracked the plane and figured out its flight path. The trio was flying back to Nebraska but hit a rough patch of weather over Wyoming. 

For three days, he and his sister Brooke, along with other family members, waited, praying for the best but dreading the worst. On the third day, about a mile from 13,780-foot Gannett Peak, the rescue team found debris from a single-engine Cessna crash. They also found three bodies. 

After this event, he found his emotions toward golf are complicated and contradictory emotions. 

Leslie Hofmeister died in a plane crash with Nate’s parents in 2004. She is Nate’s high school sweetheart. She was only 19 years old when the plane crash happened. 

Her full name was Leslie Anne Hofmeister. She was born on November 11, 1984, in Scottsbluff to Paul and Kandi Hofmeister. She graduated from Scottsbluff High School in 2003. 

She led a busy, passionate, caring, and giving life. She began dancing the day she started walking. Her love for performing produced opportunities for her involvement in dance studios, church events, and the Scottsbluff High School Drill Team.

When she was in high school, she was a member of various organizations. In college, she was a Pi Beta Phi sorority sister. As a dance assistant, lifeguard, and babysitter, she touched many children’s lives in the Scottsbluff and Gering community.
