Nicklin Hames comes from a volleyball-studded family. Her parents, Christine and Jason Hames, are the founders of K2 Volleyball Club.

Jason Hames, Hames’ father, served as a volunteer assistant coach at Tennessee and currently serves as the K2 organization’s director and recruitment coordinator. Meanwhile, her mother, Christine Hames, played for Australia’s national team while attending Oregon State as a collegiate setter. 

She is ecstatic to be residing with her family. She should have a luxurious lifestyle, and judging by her online media posts, she enjoys traveling and living life to the fullest. In June 2016, Hames uploaded a picture of her childhood with her father, Jason, on father’s day. 

Moreover, she is spotted having fun with her two athletic siblings. Her sister Kayleigh is also a volleyball player, much like her, while her brother Elijah plays football and baseball. Undoubtedly, all of them develop an interest in sports because of their parents’ passion and devotion to sports.

They own a Louisville, Tennessee-based volleyball team which aims to produce new and young breeds to the world of volleyball by providing them with challenging and demanding skill sets so that they can compete in top-level leagues in the future.

According to its website, k2volleyball.com, the volleyball club gets its name K2 from Mount K2, located in Pakistan in the Karakoram range. It is the world’s second highest peak after Mount Everest of Nepal. It may come 2nd in its height, but it is one of the deadliest mountains in the world.

“Much like the mountain, the time spent playing at K2 is demanding and tough, but the end result is a spectacular experience filled with memories that will last a lifetime,” it says on its page.

The couple finds it hard to decide which daughter’s NCAA Tournament they will attend. A typical year would require Jason and Christine to choose, but in Omaha, the parents watched Nicklin and Kayleigh Hames play throughout the whole postseason.

Nicklin Hames is in a loving relationship with her boyfriend, Chris Hickman. Hickman is an American football player who plays for Nebraska Football.

Hames frequently uploads pictures with her boyfriend on her Instagram @nhamesss, which has 41.8k followers. The last time she posted a picture with her lover Chris was in May this year. He wore a cowboy hat with a blue t-shirt and jeans while she was in a pink one-piece. 

They reportedly began dating somewhere in 2020, when their first picture appeared on their social media. However, they had not provided any details of when they started.

On Instagram, Hames has uploaded a few pictures with others as well. The one particular she posted in March 2017 with John Morrow gives the vibe that she was dating him back then. People in the comment section also believed they were a thing and a wish for their long-lasting love.

Chris Hickman Bio And Personal Information

On August 17, 2000, Chris was born to Chris Hickman Sr and Mary Anderson. He turned 22 in August last month.

Hickman plans to complete his degree in December and major in child, youth, and family studies. The Nebraska Football Road Race and nearby hospitals have benefited from his voluntary work.

247Sports placed the youngster as one of Nebraska’s top three prospects and included him among the top 20 tight ends in the country. Throughout his sophomore and junior years, Hickman played varsity basketball for the Bulldogs. 

Hickman was one of two players from the Omaha Burke squad that won the Class A state championship in 2018. He signed with Nebraska in 2019. He had the option of Nebraska or several other offers, including those from Wisconsin, Indiana, Kansas State, Minnesota, and a few more. He was awarded Nebraska Scholar-Athlete Honor Roll twice in 2020 and 2022. 

Nicklin Hames is 5 ft 10 in tall (178 cm). It is the average height for division-1 college players.

Similarly, the Nebraska player weighs around 70 kg. Despite this, she has a large and distinctive personality for someone of her height. She was conceived on January 18, 2000, in California, making her current age 21. Nicklin received his diploma from Knoxville, Tennessee’s Webb School.

Christine Hames, her mother, served as her high school coach. “I just saw the impact that they had on young girls’ lives and the community in general,” Nicklin praised her parents’ efforts toward sports.

From the eighth grade till graduation, Nicklin played for her high school. She played as a hitter and a setter at Webb School, where she eventually won five state titles. In four of those five seasons, she received the MVP award for the state tournament.

In the summer of 2017, she made the U.S. national team in Argentina for the U-18 Junior World Championships before joining the Nebraska volleyball team. She got the privilege to play under Cook. Hames asserted that Cook’s growth mentality inspires everyone around him to pursue ongoing learning and development.

Nicklin Hames, the 22-year-old professional volleyball player, has an estimated net worth of less than $1 million.
