Although several sexual allegations against Bruxy were raised, Nina has always stood firm with her husband to support him in every difficult moment of his life. For his alleged abuse of one congregant, Cavey was charged in June by Hamilton police with sexual assault.
A church investigation into those claims, which concluded in March, determined that Cavey had abused his position of responsibility as a clergyman and had engaged in sexual harassment. The Hamilton Police Service reported on June 6, 2022, that Cavey had been detained and accused of sexual assault on May 31, 2022. He was granted conditional release and has a court date of June 27, 2022.

According to the sources, a church official said that the investigation determined that his actions constituted sexual harassment and abuse of power. Cavey was detained and accused of sexual assault in June 2022. Tyndale University, Messiah College, and Fresno Pacific University Biblical Seminary have all had Cavey as a guest professor teaching university-level courses.
Bruxy Cavey Assault Allegations And Updates
The Oakville megachurch, the subject of months of sexual abuse allegations, announced on Saturday that it had substantiated more claims against former pastor Bruxy Cavey, including one involving a minor.
The Meeting House, one of Canada’s most prominent evangelical churches, where Cavey served as an unusual and well-liked pastor for 25 years before charges of sexual assault were brought to the church’s notice in December, released a statement and a video with the most recent revelations.
The church announced on Saturday that it had verified two more claims of sexual abuse against Cavey and that the third claim of sexual misbehavior had also been verified. However, the only information the church provided concerning the claims was that, in one instance, the victim was minor when the assault occurred.
