Aron’s mother, Patty Judge, is more than proud of her son’s performance in recent years.

He has emerged as one of the most feared players in MLB. While many players struggle to make their mark in the league despite playing for many seasons, Judge has achieved this feat in just seven seasons. He was considered a promising candidate for the Yankees, and indeed he has stood up to the expectations and delivered stunning performances to help his team win matches.

Recently, Patty’s reaction during an MLB game has grabbed the attention of many people, and that incident has also gone viral on the internet. On 27 September, the Yankees’ first clash against Blue Jays had many legendary moments. 

When Aaron Judge came to the plate in the top of the 10th inning against the Toronto Blue Jays, the score was tied 2-2, and he was one home run away from becoming the American League single-season highest home run hitter overtaking Roger Maris’ record of 61 homerun set in 1961. Blue Jays left-handed reliever pitcher Tim Mayza was called upon when the Yankees had runners on first and second. The hosts finally decided to deliberately walk Judge to load the bases rather than take on the AL’s most lethal player.

Aaron’s mother, who was present at Rogers Centre on Monday, made it clear that she wasn’t happy with Toronto’s choice by shaking her head and grinning in front of the cameras. However, the strategy paid off as the Blue Jays held the Yankees without a run before Vladimir Guerrero Jr.’s walk-off single gave them the victory in the bottom of the ninth. However, they didn’t have to wait much to register a win against the Jays. They won the game the next day with a considerable margin, and Judge even hit a home run making his 2022 home run count 61. 

Aron was born on April 26, 1992, in Sacramento, California. His biological parents are anonymous to this date and wish to avoid public attention. He was adopted by his parents, Patty and Wayne, the day after his birth. Both of his parents used to teach in Linden, California.

He was unknown about the fact of his adoption until the age of 10. However, he mentioned in an interview that he had already got the idea of his parents not being the biological parents as he looked completely different than his family members.

His parents loved him just as much as any biological parent would love their child. Therefore the news had no impact on their relationship in any manner. They were by his side in every moment of his life, guiding him towards the right path and making him a good human being. They managed to persuade him to reject an offer to enter the MLB earlier than he did in favor of attending college.

Aaron Judge has said on various occasions that his parents are responsible for becoming an MLB player. They did everything in their hands during his early days to facilitate him with the equipment that greatly aided him in his practices. 

Judge also has an older brother, John, who his parents adopted. However, he doesn’t have any ties with competitive sports. John followed in his parent’s footsteps to become a teacher and is currently working as a full-time teacher in his home state, California. 

Aaron is a married man who tied the knot with his high school sweetheart, Samantha Bracksieck, in December 2021.

Although Judge and Bracksieck have kept most of their relationship a secret recently, their love story is said to have started before the outfielder rose to fame in Major League Baseball.

After dating throughout their high school years in Linden, California, Bracksieck and Judge reconnected at Fresno State University, where Bracksieck completed both his undergraduate and graduate degrees in exercise science. The husband and wife had separated from their high school days before meeting again in 2019.

The media has focused on several relationships that Aaron Judge has been a part of. In addition to the records he set as a rookie, he gained notoriety in 2017 for his romance with a woman named Jen Flaum. They were spotted multiple times in public, but despite many efforts, their relationship couldn’t succeed, and the couple broke up before 2019.

The seven years and $213.5 million paid by the Yankees did not appear overnight. With an average annual value of $30.5 million, the extension would have started in 2023, making it the second-highest contract ever for an outfielder. If he stays fit, he would probably demand a contract worth at least $300 million this winter.

The only other outfielders with contracts worth at least $300 million are Giancarlo Stanton, Mike Trout, and Mookie Betts, all of whom play for the New York Yankees. Aaron was a very athletic person while growing up. He had interests in multiple sports and was one of the top players on his team while attending junior sports leagues in his school and locality. He was a three-sport star while attending Linden High School. He played wide receiver for the football team, pitcher, and first baseman for the baseball team, as well as a center for the basketball squad.

The Beginning 

His professional journey began in 2013 when the Yankees selected Judge with the 32nd overall pick in the first round of the 2013 MLB Draft. Judge received a $1.8 million signing bonus from the Yankees when he signed with them. He tore a quadriceps femoris muscle while taking part in a base running practice, delaying his entry into the league and keeping him out of the 2013 campaign.

In 2014, he made his professional debut with the Class A South Atlantic League’s Charleston RiverDogs. Judge’s rookie campaign, in which he batted 0.179 and struck out 42 times in 84 at-bats, was cut short when he was put on the 15-day disabled list on September 13, 2016, while playing against the Los Angeles Dodgers, due to a grade two right oblique strain.

The New York Yankees selected Judge to play right field on Opening Day against the Tampa Bay Rays in 2017. On April 28, against the Baltimore Orioles, he hit multiple home runs for the first time, assisting the Yankees in a 14-11 victory. He was honored as the American League’s Rookie of the Month for April for his outstanding performance. He played in 22 games in April, averaging.303 with ten home runs, 20 RBIs, and a 0.411 OBP. On July 7, Judge blasted his 30th home run, shattering Joe DiMaggio’s previous mark for the most home runs by a Yankees rookie.

Judge had a .284 batting average, 52 home runs, and 114 RBIs at the end of the 2017 campaign. In terms of home runs, runs scored, and walks, he was the American League leader. Judge received a Silver Slugger Award, the Players’ Choice Award for Outstanding AL Rookie, and a spot on Baseball America’s All-MLB Team as an outfielder. Judge also won the American League Rookie of the Year award unanimously. Best Season 

The 2019 season was special for him as he managed to have many iconic moments that season. Judge had a .288 batting average to open that season. He managed to hit five home runs, and 11 RBIs in 20 games. But on April 20, he strained his left oblique when he hit a single in the sixth inning. He had 378 at-bats in 2019 and batted .272/.381/.540 with 27 home runs and 55 RBIs. He homered five straight games to start the postponed 2020 60-game regular season. He played in 28 games and had a slash line of .257/.336/.554 with nine home runs and 22 RBI.

Now, Aaron was becoming a notable player for his team. He had fans all around the globe praising his capabilities and the team management also had lots of faith in him. However, he disagreed with the New York Yankees for a long-term contract before the 2022 campaign. The club made an arbitration offer of $17 million and a $213.5 million, seven-year extension. On June 24, Judge agreed to a one-year, $19 million contract, avoiding contract extensions, with an additional $250,000 bonus for each MVP Award and World Series MVP Award win.

He hit 60 home runs in a single season, becoming the third MLB player in American League history to do it. He did it in 147 games, making him the Yankee who accomplished this milestone the fastest. He achieved another remarkable feat this season. Judge tied Roger Maris for the most home runs in a single season in American League history on September 28 with his 61st blast off Toronto Blue Jays pitcher Tim Mayza.
