Reid and Jodi started dating in the year 2013. It was confirmed when Jodi shared the first photograph of Reid driving on July 13, 2013. The couple had reportedly gone fishing on a date. After dating for a year, Jodi shared the same picture of their fishing to wish Reid their first dating anniversary.
On May 15, 2015, Jodi shared a picture of her engagement ring. She tagged Carruthers in a post and wrote: “It’s official, he asked, and I said YES!” The happy pair also shot some engagement pictures at the Pinawa Dam!
On August 13, 2016, Carruthers and Jodi took their wedding vows. Before their wedding, a special social was aired live on Facebook and catered by Chef Colin Hodgson. The couple’s closest, Greg Anderson, Kevin Mark, Mike McEwen, and Steph Collette, were available at the ceremony. The event also had golf packages available for the guests.

The pair have named their first child Bo Michael Carruthers. Reid’s Instagram post suggested Bo was born healthy and sleepy. While Jodi recently shared a series of pictures of her six-month-old child, from meeting Santa for the first time to playing with various toys.

Jodi is a Healthcare Risk Management Specialist at the Healthcare Insurance Reciprocal of Canada.
According to her LinkedIn profile, Jodi graduated with a Bachelor’s degree in Health Administration from Athabasca University. Between 2019 to 2020, she took a patient safety officer course at the Canadian Patient Safety Institute. In addition, she has also studied the fundamentals of Insurance at the Insurance Brokers Association of Manitoba.
