Ryan Clark Wife Yonka Clark Is A Certified Credit Agent

Ryan Clark and his wife Yonka Clark have been married for eighteen years. Yonka was a cheerleader.

Ryan and Yonka met in high school at a picnic during a graduation party for her cousin. They have known each other since the early 1990s.

The former NFL player was quite a catch during his high school days, with girls running circles around him. But Yonka was not one of many girls who had certainly boosted Clark's ego. She didn't quite understand the hype around her future husband. 

Though they didn't like each other in the first instance, it always felt like they were meant to be. Like the famous trope in many teen romantic movies, Ryan was a famous footballer, and Yonka was a cheerleader. 

As Ryan joined Louisiana State University, Yonka followed him at LSU a year later and then began their relationship. The two would often be seen together, and after some time, they thought to make their relationship official. 

The couple tied the knot only after realizing that if they wanted the joint insurance of their home, they would have to be married. So the footballer went on to search for the ring on Valentine's Day in 2004, and now they are parents to three kids.

The support system of each other, Yonka, was there for the footballer when he went through a disastrous phase in his life. With a sickle cell diagnosis gone wrong, Ryan thought he would lose his battle against the disease.

In an interview with SB Nations, Ryan said during the diagnosis, if he passed away, he prayed Yonka would once live a happy life with another man. But he did wish that man wouldn't be as handsome as him. 

Yonka Clark is a certified credit agent based in Louisiana. Clark is the mother of three kids of Steelers safety Ryan Clark. 

Yonka and Ryan married on July 10, 2004. In 2020, she shared a sweet tribute on their 14th anniversary with a gallery of images with a picture of them on a swing.

Yonka, available on Instagram with the username @writehereyonkee, has given the fans a glimpse of her married life and her lives with Ryan and their three children. From sharing tributes to her husband to her kids, Yonka also has a separate handle for work purposes.

The certified credit agent has an Instagram handle with the username @socialcreditmanagement, which is solely dedicated to her work. In 2017, she informed her followers about her promotion to the position of Senior Field Trainer, which was met with congratulatory messages. 

The same year, Yonka was sworn in to become a notary at the Louisiana Notary Association. She shared the email sent to her about her passing the notary examination on July 25, 2017, on her Instagram handle.

In the past, Yonka has organized a credit management pop-up seminar with her colleague and sales director Dominique in Baton Rouge, Louisiana. 

Ryan Clark family are residents of Louisiana having called the Pelican State their home for four decades. 

The former NFL player was raised by his parents, Sheila Clark and Michael Clark in Marrero, Louisiana, alongside his two siblings, Chaz and Clemaltia. After going undrafted in the 2002 NFL draft, Clark was chosen by the New York Giants. 

In an interview with The Casual in 2021, Ryan talked about having to raise a child without the presence of her mother. The footballer had become a father at 19 and later took custody of the child after her mother wanted to pursue a career. 

Ryan tied the knot with his current partner Yonka Clark in 2004 and the two are parents to two kids. Jaden Clark, the oldest of the three kids, is a master's degree candidate at the University of South Florida and an alumna of Louisiana State University. 

The only son of the former NFL player, Jordan Clark, is a defensive back at Arizona State University and graduated with a degree in communication on December 15, 2022. Ryan posted the photo of his son's graduation ceremony on his Instagram handle.

The youngest member of the Clark family, Loghan Clark, will turn 18 next week on January 9. The family is tight-knit as it could be with Ryan and Yonka raising three kids with utmost love.
