Sajid Javid Muslim Origin But A Different Religion Perspective
The Secretary of State for Health and Social Care, MP Sajid Javid worked for his position for slightly more than a year, starting on June 26, 2021, and ending today on July 5, 2022.
Javid does not practice any religion even if his family has a Muslim heritage. On the other hand, his wife is a practicing Christian. Despite not practicing, he was the first Muslim Home Secretary who was invited to the Iftar party.
According to reports, in March 2018, Javid got a "Punish a Muslim Day" parcel containing religious hatred which is why he calls himself being abused in the name of religion.
I have spoken to the Prime Minister to tender my resignation as Secretary of State for Health & Social Care.— Sajid Javid (@sajidjavid) July 5, 2022
It has been an enormous privilege to serve in this role, but I regret that I can no longer continue in good conscience. pic.twitter.com/d5RBFGPqXp
The 52-year-old Sajid Javid is all over the internet as he currently resigned from his post. The resignation took place at the same time that Johnson was professing regret for not seeking a previous minister in charge of pastoral care was unfair for a position in government after allegations of sexual misconduct were brought against him.
As aforementioned, Rishi Sunak, the finance minister had also resigned. Both politicians had previously come out in support of Johnson amid the months-long controversy over the actions of his administration and a devastating investigation into parties held at his Downing Street apartment and office that violated severe Covid 19 lockdown regulations.
