A 21-year-old Mobile man named Brandon was taken into custody in relation to a gunshot at a close-by apartment complex. Brandon Lee Gibbons is accused of assault in the second degree.
According to the Mobile Police Department, at around 4 am on June 24, Friday, the officers responded to a single shot by going to Ascension Provident Hospital.
Investigators claim that the suspect, Gibbons, is suspected of shooting the male victim at the Greentree Apartments, which are located at 6200 Airport Blvd.
The victim received non-life-threatening medical care, according to the authorities.
After being detained, Gibbons was eventually freed from the Mobile County Metro Jail. A court date is set on July 5 and a bond hearing is set for Monday, according to jail records.
