Bilqis Prasista was born to parents Zelin Resiana and Joko Suprianto in the year 2003. 

Joko Suprianto, age 56, is a former badminton player of Indonesia who was counted among the world's leading men's singles players from the early 1900s to the mid-1990s.

Her father became world champion in men's singles at the 1993 IBF World Championships. 

Suprianto qualified to play at the 1996 Summer Olympics in men's singles. In September 1996, Joko slid to the top spot in the men's singles world.

Bilqis Prasista's mother, Zelin Resiana, is a former Indonesian women's double badminton player. Her parents had her almost fours after they married in 1999.
