Vanessa and Aubrey Griffin are two rising basketball players. The duo is famously known as "Sister In Sports." Learn about their family.

Vanessa and Aubrey are both enjoying an excellent start to their basketball career. The elder sister Vanessa was born in 1996, and Aubrey only came to this world in 2002, which put them at 25 years and 19 years of age, respectively. Like their father, both are gifted with an impressive height of 5 feet and 9 inches (Vanessa) and 6 feet and 1 inch tall (Aubrey).

Likewise, Aubrey stands out a bit ahead of her sister Vanessa thanks to her incredible stats. She is currently playing for UCONN women's basketball team in a forward position. The res shirt junior has already collected a handful of accolades at such a young age. She is still in her teens and carries the potential to be written her name in the stars.

Before joining the University of Connecticut and its women's basketball team, Aubrey used to play for his high school team Ossining High School. Whereas her sister Vanessa plays for the Tapestry Varsity Basketball team, wearing jersey number 33 on her back.

Meet The Griffin Sisters As Brother AJ Griffin Ready For NBA

Apart from the Griffin sisters, there are two other members in their family, apart from their parents.

The sibling brothers duo Alan Griffin and Adrian Darnell "AJ" Griffin Jr. are the remaining members. Alan was born in early 2000 on April 14th, whereas AJ is the youngest sibling, born on August 25th, 2003.

The fun fact is all of the four children of the Griffin family are engaged with basketball. Alan plays for the Canadian Elite Basketball League (CEBL) club Newfoundland Growlers. He is 6 feet 5 inches and played for the Illinois Fighting Illini and the Syracuse Orange during college. Moreover, he is very active on Instagram and shares his photos frequently. His verified Instagram handle @adrian.griffinjr has 65.3K followers.

On the other hand, the young AJ has a dream career. He is among the best five picks to be selected in the 2022 NBA draft, with the New York Kicks mostly likely bringing the youngster to the NBA. AJ is also the tallest among his siblings, sky-high 6 feet and 6 inches, topping his brother Alan by just an inch.

Moving towards AJ's career, he started on Archbishop Stepinac high school basketball team. Later he was embedded to the college team Duke where he played at the small forward position wearing his favorite number 21 shirt.

AJ Griffin's Father, Adrian Griffin And Sports Family

The head and main man of the Griffin family is sadly not Peter Griffin from the Family Guy. But is Adrian Griffin, a former basketball player and a coach.

He kind of created a mini basketball team inside his own house. All his children, Vanessa, Adrian, Aubrey and AJ, have started their basketball careers to reach the top of the world. Adrian has played for ten straight seasons in the NBA while was a player, and the winning mentality and champion gene are sure to pass on to his offspring.

"All parents want is for their kids to be good citizens and good people, and that's one thing that I'm really proud of. "They've all done it the right way.", a proud father speaks of his children's success.

And the result is kicking as his younger son AJ Griffin is a sure shot to play in NBA this season. Besides, Adrian used to play as a shooting player and a small forward in the NBA from 1999 to 2008. Similarly, he was awarded the Pride's All-CBA First Team and All-Defensive Squad in 1998.

He never gave me basketball advice," he said. "He would always have the same answer or the same reply. he would say, 'how's your spiritual life?"
