The 20-year-old athlete successfully played thirty-three games, nearly all as a pinch-runner. The softball player was capable of stealing nine bases among her ten attempts in the game. Among all of the stolen bases of David, the game in which she stole a base against the proficient player James Madison in the Women’s College World Series is one of her highlights of the year. She made a total of 12 runs in the previous year.

The young lady finished high school in Ponte Vedra. During her days in high school, Scotland was actively part of the sport all four years. Among them, she played soccer for one year and softball for three years. The softball player was coached by Jerry Shephard. The young athlete was the winner of the 6A Player of the Year in 2019. She was also named an all-state honoree three times.
