Eric Sands, 38, and Danica Aiken, 29, were identified as the victims by police on Monday. Taffari Celestine, 24, was named as the suspect. Around 11:50 p.m., police officers arrived at the scene and discovered Sands, who had been killed outside an apartment.

Celestine allegedly shot and killed Sands at that point. “I heard a scream, screaming, and asking for help, and then I heard three gunshots,” a neighbor who contacted 911 claimed. She wished to stay unidentified.
