QB Taisun Phommachanh Parents Have A Unique Background

His mother runs a catering business named Angel Face Catering, where his father was also a football player and later started coaching. His parents are Laotian immigrants who struggled greatly in their early years as newcomers.

In 2020, a fire in Stratford destroyed Sam and Jasmine Phommachanh's home. No one was hurt, but the Phommachanh family suffered a significant loss and was devastated to watch their house burn down.

While their home was also destroyed by fire in 2020, his father lost her mother, Kane, at 68 in the same period. Her funeral was held with the help of donations received through Go Fund Me.
