He grew up seeing and working at his family business but developed a passion for athletics. Tony is an American football running back for the NFL team, the Dallas Cowboys.
Pollard declared for the 2019 NFL Draft on January 11, 2019, and the Cowboys selected him in the fourth round after playing college football for Memphis. He was included in the 2019 North Senior Bowl roster after a week of announcing his draft.

He grew up watching his father and mother run a successful barbecue restaurant in their hometown. They are the owner of Pollard’s Bar-B-Que, one of the finest BBQs in Memphis. Their business goes back four generations. Tony’s great-grandfather taught everybody how to barbecue.
According to the official site of the eatery, The Pollard couple established it as a mobile catering business in 1995. Pollard’s reopened as a carry-out catering business on October 7th, 1996. They initially operated this family chain in Shelby Drive and Boeingshire before relocating to Elvis Presley Strip and becoming a dine-in restaurant.

This business is mainly handled by Tony’s father, as his mother has a different job. His mom Torria has worked for FedEx, an institution in Memphis, since it moved there from Little Rock, Arkansas, in 1973. She is one of thirty thousand employees at FedEx in her hometown.
The Memphis-based couple rose in prominence and made headlines after the 25-year-old player started progressing in football.
Terrance has preferred to remain out of social media while his wife is active on Instagram @pollardgmom with a small following. Moreover, they have remained off the camera and are rarely seen in their son’s games.
Tony Pollard Will Soon Be A Dad To Two Children
Tony Pollard will be the father of two kids after the birth of his second child in 2023.
Pollard shares daughter Taraji Ray Pollard with his girlfriend Kania Taylor. The two had her in 2021.
The couple announced their pregnancy via an Instagram post on June 23, 2021. Three months later, they welcomed their first child, a daughter, on October 3, 2021. Taraji is currently one years old.
The family of three celebrated their first Christmas on December 25, 2021, and their daughter’s six-month birthday on March 31, 2021. They were seen in Oxnard, California, in Mid 2022.

Kania took her child to her first football game on September 13, 2022. She has been to many games since her first visit to a football stadium.
Tony and Kania announced their second pregnancy on New Year’s day and look forward to welcoming a new addition to their growing family.
The running back for the Dallas Cowboys posted some pictures with his girlfriend and daughter in the new year, and one of the photos includes Taraji holding an ultrasound. The couple will shortly welcome Taraji’s younger sibling.

His brother Terrion has also played football, while his sister Tneshia has preferred to remain out of sports. Terrion played college football for Dragons Lane college from 2013 to 2016. Standing at 6’2″ and weighing 180 pounds, he played as a Wide Receiver with jersey number 88.

Based on his LinkedIn profile, he is currently working in middle management at Pollards Barbecue. He has been working at Pollard’s BBQ since January 2009. Moreover, he has also worked as a Material Handler at FedEx with his mother after working as a bartender at Genghis Grill in Jackson, Tennessee, for more than a year.
Terrion was a Service Crew at the City of Memphis, city maintenance in various designated locations. He holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration from Lane College, where he was an NCAA student-athlete.
He was also engaged in Varsity Football, Varsity Rugby during high school at Germantown High School.
