Steve Paikin’s salary at TVO has fluctuated significantly over the years, with the highest being $356,759.02 in 2021.

With 20 years of experience working for TVO, he has become one of the network’s highest earners. He received $314,261.63 in 2015 and $303,087.93 in 2017.

After leaving Toronto radio station CHFI, Paikin began working at TVO in 1992, hosting the political series Between the Lines until 1994. 

Paikin began co-hosting Studio 2 in 1994 and continued until 2006. In 1998, Diplomatic Immunity was born with him as the host. 

TVO canceled Studio 2 in 2006 and replaced it with a new current affairs program, The Agenda with Steve Paikin.

Wife Of Steve Paikin – Married Life Explained

Francesca Grosso is the wife of journalist Steve Paikin. Their marriage runs like a well-oiled machine because they’ve separated their work lives.

Grosso was a director of policy for former Ontario health minister Tony Clement and later served as a health policy advisor to Patrick Brown who was the leader of the Progressive Conservative Party of Ontario. 

Concerned that she would have no role in government health policy, she chose to ghostwrite Brown’s 2018 memoir, Takedown. 

She did, however, previously publish a book under her own name, Navigating Canada’s Health Care System.

As The Agenda covers Queen’s Park and his wife works as a consultant to health-care stakeholders who deal with Queen’s Park, they have had to put up boundaries to keep their world from spinning out of control. 

His wife never asks about his upcoming shows or columns that might impact her life, and despite his desire to do so, he never pries into her affairs.

Steve Paikin has four children, three sons, and one daughter, who have all at point worked in politics.

Zachary, his oldest son, is 30 years old and used to be a Liberal Party activist. He ran for the federal Liberal nomination in a Hamilton riding eight years ago.

Senator Frances Lankin employs Henry Paikin, the middle child, who is 28 years old.

Teddy, the youngest of his sons, is 24. He volunteered for Christine Elliott’s first run for the Ontario Progressive Conservative leadership when he was only 12 years old.

Giulia, his youngest child, has campaigned for candidates from all of the major political parties over the years. During the 2018 municipal election campaign, Giulia volunteered to go door-to-door for Toronto city councilor Josh Matlow.
