In a TikTok video, Gabbie said that she sometimes felt like she could change the world, and other times she just wanted to commit suicide. The 31-year-old had been diagnosed with bipolar disorder, according to the video. 

She was a nominee for an IHeartRadio Social Star Award in April 2018. She published two songs as well as a poetry book named Adultolescence before being nominated.

She eventually wants to produce an entire album of songs regarding mental illnesses and her personal experiences.

Gabbie Hanna was born to her parents, mother Michelle Hanna, and father, James Hanna. She is one of her parents' seven children.

Her father has a mixed ethnicity and has Polish and Lebanese ancestry. However, he married Michelle, who was of French descent.

Gabbie's ethnicity is hence Lebanese, Polish, and French. Gabbie's mother received her schooling at Pennsylvania State University and holds a license in massage therapy.

She also attended the Pittsburg School of Massage Therapy. Her father, on the other hand, stays out of the public eye. 

Hanna received a psychology and communications degree from the University of Pittsburgh in 2013. After graduating from college, she worked for a marketing firm that sold goods out of Sam's Club.

She rose to the company's top salesperson in the United States. She relocated to Cleveland, Ohio, to assist in the establishment of a new branch of the firm.
