What Happened To Edward Snowden? American Author Health Update, Where Is He Today?

Former NSA employee Edward Snowden revealed highly sensitive information from the organization in 2013. His disclosure exposed a wide range of international surveillance initiatives carried out by the US and the UK.

Snowden initially alerted his own organization to the alleged ethical violations of the spying, but no one appeared eager to address the concerns.

Snowden traveled to Hong Kong in May 2013 and gave journalists disks containing thousands of NSA documents. The Washington Post, The Guardian, and other media outlets published the leaks, which brought him to widespread attention.

Although many people have changed their minds about Snowden’s release because of the legal reforms it sparked, current polls indicate that many people still think his views are treasonous.

“We submitted the paperwork in April, and we received rights to permanent residence,” he continued.

In August 2020, President Trump toyed with the idea of granting Snowden a pardon, raising the possibility of a prospective return to the United States. Attorney General Bill Barr, who was in that position, “vehemently opposed” a possible pardon.
