Jamie spoke highly of her trainer, Annable, after the win. She said, “What she’s been able to do with her stable, to build it up to a dynasty, she’s got so many classy horses, so much faith in her team, it’s hard not to have faith in her horses, they’re flying at the moment, she deserves it all, she’s fantastic.”

Kah said it was tough on her career to miss the spring carnival and see horses she rode or might have mounted in prestigious win group 1 competition during racing’s biggest three months. She was also concerned that trainers and owners wouldn’t want to hire her when she returned.

The same year, three months before her suspension, Kah made history on July 10, 2021, when he became the first rider in Melbourne Metropolitan racing history to win 100 races while riding for other jockeys. She ended the Metropolitan season with 105 wins to her credit.
