Justin married his wife, Janise Lower, on September 21, 2019. The couple dated for several years before finally converting their relationship into a marriage. He let his fan know about this two days after the wedding on September 23 via Instagram. Fans admired his relationship, and the comment section was filled with lovely congratulations messages.

Janise occasionally features on her husband's Instagram profile. She has her account on the social media platform but has made the visibility of her performance private. According to her Instagram bio, she loves reading books and is a yoga student. She hasn't been seen in public frequently, but the photos on the internet suggest that she has maintained good health keeping her body in shape.

She is a dog lover, and the couple has kept a Bearded Collie as their pet. They have named it Darby, and Janise calls herself a dog mum. She is professionally involved as a Doctor of Pharmacy and hasn't mentioned much about her professional career on the internet. She has an Instagram account with almost 700 followers and more than 220 posts. 

Justin had many tragic incidents in his life, but his father's loss troubles him the most. His father, Tim Lower, suffered a car accident on March 26, 2005, and passed away along with his son and Justin's brother Chris.

The family felt a devastating shock as a significant family member passed away. Justin was only 15 years when the incident happened. He overcame the sadness and trauma of losing his father at a young age and worked hard to become a well-known player in golf.

Justin describes the accident as it happened in front of his eyes. According to him, Tim overshot as the car went off track, causing it to crash into a utility pole close to where Chris was sitting. Seatbelts did not restrain both. Tim passed away soon after Chris left the world after the collision.

A few days before the funerals, Justin recalls playing golf because his mother required him to leave the house. He engaged in solo play. Later, Justin found out that Tim had been traveling at speeds of more than 80 mph in a 55 mph zone and had a blood alcohol level of .23, which is over three times the legal limit.

Two months later, Justin shot 64 to win a one-day tournament in front of family and friends by seven strokes. He completed every fairway and green in regulation.

According to Salary Sports, the overall career earnings of Justin Lower are $651,513, with  $217,171 in prize money every year since turning pro in 2013. After his professional debut, he continued to play for four years until 2017 and suddenly was out of the scene until 2021.

The 2021/22 season was crucial for Lower as it marked his comeback season, and with any cost, he had to perform well to sustain himself in the tours and tournaments of that and the upcoming year. He matched his expectations playing 18 contests this season. He had only managed to play four games from 2013 to 2017.

This season was special for him as he made $635,088 in 2022 by winning tournaments. He also earns with other ventures like sponsorship deals and brand partnerships. However, the financial details of his agreements and contracts are kept confidential, so his income, other than his prize money, is unknown to us. 

After the demise of his father, his life became upside down. He only knew golf, and he only wanted to become something in this sport. He also degraded his academics as many things were concurrently in his life. His grades slipped, and so did all his hopes of a scholarship to a big-time golf school.

In the spring of his senior year of high school, he reached out to Ken Hyland, the golf coach at Malone University. The university is in Canton, just 15 miles from Canal Fulton. The school turned out to be the perfect fit for him. He was in the starting lineup his freshman year, although he admits to not living up to his potential in his first two seasons.

Justin won the Jack Nicklaus Award as the NAIA player of the year after a season with six victories. He also received the Arnold Palmer Award as a national championship medalist. And in his senior season, he received the David Toms Award for overcoming adversity.

He began his professional career in 2013 and kickstarted his pro career on a high note. Gradually got recognition, and nine years after his debut, he is one of the game's most respected and recognized players.
