Gret Glyer, 32, was shot to death, and Joshua Daniel Danehower, 33, of Arlington, Virginia, has been detained and charged with second-degree murder and using a handgun during the commission of a felony.<\/p>\n

A captain from the City of Fairfax Police Department said during a news conference on Wednesday morning that Danehower is a friend of the family. If he had a lawyer, that was not immediately apparent.<\/p>\n

After being followed by police from Arlington to the airport, Joshua Danehower, 33, was apprehended Tuesday night at Dulles International Airport.<\/p>\n

Danehower was mentioned as a potential suspect by detectives after being the subject of interviews, according to the police. No details on a potential reason were immediately made public.<\/p>\n

When they arrived at his residence in the 9800 block of Bolton Village Court at around 3 a.m. on Friday, police say they discovered 32-year-old Glyer dead from gunshot wounds.<\/p>\n

According to police, Glyer’s wife reported the shooting by calling 911. Police radio audio captured what a dispatcher said: She thought her spouse had been shot after hearing a loud noise. She thinks someone entered the home.<\/p>\n
