Chris Scott, AFL coach and former rules footballer is married to his wife, Sarah Scott. The Geelong coach has family support as he prepares for the grand final.<\/p>\n
Scott was a machine during his playing career. Using his power to outmaneuver opposition forwards, he developed into one of the AFL’s fiercest defensive players. Some fans referred to him and his brother Brad as the Kray brothers because of their harsh and powerful playing methods.<\/p>\n
The 46-year-old played in the Australian Football League (AFL) from Brisbane Lions and Brisbane Bears. He debuted in AFL with the Bears in 1994 after he got picked in the 93′ AFL Draft. After two seasons with the Brisbane Bears, he transferred to Brisbane Lions in 1997, where he would stay till 2007, playing almost a decade for the club.<\/p>\n
After playing for two premiership teams, Scott’s latter career was blighted by injury, but his few games demonstrated his experience and talent. He made his retirement announcement the day before Brisbane’s round 22 games against Geelong, which was played on September 1, 2007.<\/p>\n
