\nThe woman who was set on fire last month on a city bus on June 17, 2022, has been identified by Toronto police.<\/p>\n
Nyima Dolma, 28, of Toronto passed away last week as a result of the attack on June 17 at about 12:25 p.m. at Kipling Station, close to Kipling Avenue and Dundas Avenue West. \u00a0<\/p>\n
\nCharges have now been upgraded against Tenzin Norbu, the man police allege set a woman on fire in a random attack on a bus at Kipling Station on June 17. The woman died last week from her injuries. Tenzin Norbu, 33, of Toronto has reportedly been charged with first-degree murder in the case, according to the investigators. He appeared in court on Monday morning via video link.<\/p>\n
To assist in paying for medical expenditures and burial costs, an internet fundraising campaign was started.<\/p>\n
