\nSeventeen people were arrested recently in Spartanburg for various reasons, while still, some people are on the loose, and Spartanburg’s police are searching for them.<\/span><\/p>\nAlthough they have little control over how long people are detained, according to Sheriff Wright, those who have been arrested are currently off the streets.<\/span><\/p>\n“I always overhear people discussing how swiftly they enter and exit jail; you know, that’s not our doing. Sheriff Wright stated, “Our responsibility is to lock them up, conduct the investigation, and pay attention to our complaints.<\/span><\/p>\nAccording to Sheriff Wright, the bulk of suspects are sought for methamphetamine. Gerald Day was accused of having methamphetamine with the intent to distribute it. Additionally, Khamphong Keomanee was accused of smuggling meth between 28 and 100 grams within half a mile of a park.<\/span><\/p>\nCharges against Katherine Massey include possession to distribute meth, heroin, a schedule II narcotic, and possession with the intent to distribute within a half-mile of a park. Additionally, charges for selling crack were brought against Willie Mullins.<\/span><\/p>\n<\/p>\n
