Lavel Davis Jr was a former football player at the University of Virginia.<\/p>\n

Playing for the Cavaliers, Lavel made a good name in UVA’s offense. In high school, he used to play basketball and runs track.\u00a0In an interview with UVA Football, he spoke briefly about loving and reading the works of Shakespeare and the Bible in his free time.\u00a0<\/p>\n

On November 13, 2022, Davis Jr was shot down on campus premises. The wide receiver lost his life along with D’Sean Perry and\u00a0Devin Chandler<\/a> in the fatal shooting. Each one of them was a footballer for the University of Virginia. The accident took place around 10:30 p.m. Sunday on the Campus premise.\u00a0<\/p>\n

In a mini interview with UVA Football published on Twitter, Lavel Davis Jr divulged he loved Shakespeare.<\/span><\/p>\n

He had read Shakespeare’s work a lot, including Romeo and Juliet and a couple of other plays and poems.<\/span><\/p>\n

Davis also read the Bible. He said the Bible was imparting him some holy stuff. Additionally, his family nurtured him with God-fearing Christian sentiments.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

The last time Davis was on the field for less than a week was on October 29 in a loss to Miami, when he finished with one reception for 47 yards.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

He lost all last season’s games because he had a torn ligament during the spring practice session. Under head coach Eddie Ford, Lavel Davis Jr played Wide Receiver at Woodland High School. He had 40 catches for 622 yards and seven touchdowns as a senior. <\/span><\/p>\n

His records made him earn all-state honors. Consequently, nothing could prevent him from being selected to play in South Carolina’s North-Star all-star game.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n
