Fani T. Willis is an American politician, attorney, and also prosecutor for Fulton County, Georgia. More about which sorority the attorney has been a part of has been discussed in the section below.<\/strong><\/em><\/p>\n

Willis opened a criminal investigation into a phone discussion with Secretary of State Brad Raffensperger and other attempts by Donald Trump to influence Georgia election authorities, including the governor and the attorney general, on February 10, 2021.<\/p>\n

She stated that no Georgian official was being investigated at the time. In January 2022, she asked a special grand jury to investigate allegations of electoral meddling by Trump and his associates.<\/p>\n

The special grand jury, which was chosen on May 2, will have investigative authority and subpoena power, eventually delivering a report to the judge and Ms. Willis on whether or not a crime was committed.<\/p>\n

After graduating from there\u00a0she worked as a lawyer for the past 24 years. In 1992, she graduated from Howard University in Washington, D.C., and in 1996, she graduated from Emory University School of Law. \u00a0<\/p>\n

Her education only fueled her desire to serve the people of Georgia.
