Interviewer and broadcast journalist Georgina Godwin is now working in the field.<\/span><\/p>\n During Georgina’s childhood, the country of Zimbabwe was still a British colony and went by the name Rhodesia. She lived there in Southern Africa. As Georgina and her siblings knew, their father embodied the stereotype of an Englishman living abroad by speaking with a lilting accent and maintaining a stoic demeanor.<\/span><\/p>\n Nevertheless, some aspects of him always didn’t quite fit the mold. It wasn’t until Georgina’s father was ill and lying in the hospital bed that she realized why he’d felt the need to hide his true identity all those years before.<\/span><\/p>\n Georgina Godwin was born and raised in Zimbabwe.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n She attained significant notoriety in recognition of her performance as a prime-time host on radio and television in the Zimbabwean media. She also became a columnist and featured writer in the local press. Georgina Godwin currently resides in the United Kingdom.
