Who Is Yen Duong Pottinger? Untold Truth On Matthew Pottinger Wife
Matthew Pottinger's wife, Yen Duong, is mainly notable for being his long-term supportive partner. The couple got hitched in 2014 and has been together ever since for over eight years.
Besides her lovely relationship with her husband, she is a well-known virologist who has contributed remarkably to medical research. What's more, she seems to be more interested in Viruses than parasites and bacteria.
At present days, she is a Ph.D. holder with an experience as the ICAP's senior technical advisor. In fact, Duong talks about passion in the field, mentioning, "I love viruses over organisms like bacteria and parasites."
"Viruses are very efficient. They get the job done. HIV, for instance, is especially brilliant- it attacks the cells that you use to attack the virus, and it combines itself into your genome so once you're infected, you can't get rid of it," HIV virologist Yen says.
She started working in the ICAP in 2015 and served as the senior laboratory advisor for PHIA, then further moved into the TRACE project.
As a virologist, she has equally contributed to the COVID-19 pandemic, advising on diagnostics and testing. She then opened up, "I love mentoring our lab advisors and supporting all the hard and important work they do in the field."
"They are the one people out there giving advice, training study staff, and also representing our work with our partners." It appears that Matthew's sweetheart not only seems to be brilliant in her field but also equally beautiful in her heart.
