Mark Allen New Girlfriend Is Aideen Cassidy After Divorcing Wife Kyla McGuigan

Mark Allen met his former wife, Kyla McGuigan, at a nightclub in 2011. The couple tied the knot two years later in 2013 and also have a daughter.

Mark and Kyla crossed paths when the Irish man was at the bleakest moment in his life. In an interview, he credited Kyla for saving him from spiraling out of control.

McGuigan was not unfamiliar with the name Mark Allen. As matter of fact, Kyla’s brother, Barry, knew him quite well. The former couple has two different stories of their encounter from the night at the Antrim nightclub.

If it was love at first sight for Mark, then for Kyla, it was a gradual process. It took her some time to process the fact that she was dating one of the biggest stars of the snooker scene.

The couple went on to tie the knot in May 2013 in Monaghan. It was not the first time that Allen and McGuigan walked down the aisle. The snooker player was previously married to women snooker world champion Reanne Evans.

During the pandemic, if some relationships grew stronger and new romances were formed, the same cannot be said for Mark and Kyla. The two filed for divorce in 2020.

During an interview with Belfast Live, Mark shared that there wasn’t any big reason for their divorce it was just that thing wasn’t working out for them. Allen assured the media that the breakup was amicable. 

Kyla McGuigan, the former wife of Mark Allen, is engaged again after she divorced him two years ago. She is now in a relationship with a man named Steve.

Congratulations were in order for Kyla, who shared the news of her engagement with Steve on her Facebook handle on April 23. By that time, Steve and Kyla had been engaged for over a month.

Kyla has shared several pics with her soon-to-be husband on her social media. Looking at those pictures and videos, it’s sure that Steve has certainly spoiled Kyla with the most luxurious brands possible.

The two had taken a holiday trip earlier this year in May, with Kyla even making a TikTok video and sharing it on her Facebook handle. In March, the couple took a trip to The SSE Arena, Belfast, to watch the stand-up comedian John Bishop. 

The two ended up having a hangover the other day, with Kyla warning her friends to not drink on kids’ school nights. Maybe it was a non-serious relationship that Kyla might have looked for that she found in carefree Steve rather than in a more serious Mark.

Mark and his former Kyla share a daughter named Harleigh. But at one point, the former couple were parents to three children, with the other two from their previous relationship.

From his first marriage, Mark has a daughter named Lauren, and Kyla has a son named Robbie. It remains unknown to whom Kyla was previously married, but in the case of Mark, he had a public fallout with his famous ex.

1. Robbie McGuigan

Robbie McGuigan, 18, is Kyla’s son from her previous relationship. Though it remains unknown who Robbie’s father was, the Northern Irishman has followed in the footsteps of his former stepfather.

In 2021, he broke Mark’s former record after he became the youngest-ever Northern Ireland Amateur snooker champion. He beat Mark by two and a half months.

Robbie is available on Twitter with the user handle @Robbiemcg147 and earlier this year he added another trophy to his already stacked-up cabinet as he was victorious in the Q Tour.

2. Lauren Allen

Lauren Allen, 16, is the daughter of Mark Allen and his first wife, Reanne Evans. The couple was in their early 20s when they had their first child, and later the marriage between the two turned into a messy divorce in 2008.

Lauren currently lives with her mother, Reanne, and in an interview, he talked about not being able to meet his daughter. If Mark’s relationship with Kayla ended amicably, then with Reanne, it ended in the most tragic way possible, with the two fighting over child maintenance.

3. Harleigh Allen

Harleigh Allen, 5, is the only child of Mark and Kayla. The apple of the eye of her parents, Harleigh currently lives with her mother. 

Kyla has shared several pictures of Harliegh on her Facebook handle, and in the recent one, Kyla even exclaimed that Harleigh looks just like her.

From getting her nails done to attending martial art classes, Kyla is making sure that her daughter can enjoy every aspect of her life.

Mark Allen credits his weight loss to his new girlfriend, Aideen Cassidy. The snooker player has shredded a few pounds and looks better than ever.

Like he met his former Kyla in his bleakest moment, Mark met Aideen in a similar situation. After his divorce from Kyla, Mark was embroiled in two different lawsuits.

The first one was from his first wife for the child settlement case, and the other was his pending divorce settlement with Kyla. His life was going back to what it was in 2011, a depressive state.

But after meeting Aideen, Mark returned to his disciplined and tenacious self. Like Mark, Aideen is previously married and has a daughter named Orlaith. 

The mother-of-one, Aideen, owns a party business called Lil Miss Parties, based in Belfast. They mostly organize birthday parties for kids with specific themes of Disney Princesses or Marvel superheroes such as Iron Man.

Earlier this year, on July 12, Aideen shared a photo of her and Steve with their two daughters from a previous marriage as she announced her engagement. The couple had been in a relationship since 2020.

In later photos, Aideen even shared a photo flaunting her engagement ring. The couple, along with their daughters, Harleigh and Orlaith, has taken trips to water parks and taken their daughters to horse riding classes.
