Auburn Quarterback Robby Ashford Parents Meloney Ashford And Robert Ashford

Robby Ashford was born to parents Steve Ashton and Rosalie Crutchley on October 1, 2002. 

His parents are both in IT Sector. They met while students at the University of Alabama. His father, Steve, was quite an athlete himself.

While his father once worked as a Senior Software Quality Assurance Engineer, his mother is an IT project manager.

Ashford and his sister grew up in Hoover, Alabama, and went to Hoover High. He made his initial commitment to play baseball and college football at Ole Miss while being a four-star recruit. 

After high school, he decided to play for Auburn. For some reason, Robby always gravitated toward Auburn, even though the rest of his family had attended Alabama or UAB and graduated from there.

Ashford has said, as quoted in 247 Sports, “I loved to be different. I think that was probably one of the biggest things. I didn’t want to be like my whole family. So I would see all of them; they were Bama. I was young, I was probably like 4, and I was like, ‘Oh, I like Auburn.'”

Presently, the parents of Ashford are residing in Hoover, Alabama. They frequently appear at the Jordan-Hare Stadium to enjoy a football match with their son. 

Robby Ashford’s mom, Maloney Ashford, is an IT project manager and a mother of two.

The mom has also stated what Auburn meant to her young while talking to Auburn Undercover. She said: “From a young age, he said, ‘No, mom, I like Auburn. No matter how hard some of them (his family) tried, no matter if his friends were Alabama (fans), he stuck with Auburn. He was an Auburn boy, and now he’s an Auburn man.”

Robby Ashford is an athlete like his father, Robert Ashford. Robert is a University of Alabama graduate and played baseball in college.

As his father was an athlete at UA, Robby was exposed to sportsmanship and a passion for the game at a young age. As his Twitter bio suggests, the proud dad is also an IT professional working at the Kappa Alpha Psi Fraternity Inc.

Robby Ashford and his sister Brandi Ashford grew up in an athletic family, led by parents Meloney Ashford and Robert Ashford.

His sister worked in Alabama’s recruiting department. Brandi had accompanied Ashford, who was in the first grade, to the 2008 season opener in Atlanta between Alabama and Clemson. 

Robby’s supportive sister has married non-other than Damion Square, a former All-SEC Alabama defensive tackle and three-time national champion. Damion is currently a free agent. He previously played at Alabama before joining the Philadelphia Eagles in 2013.

Brandi and Damion are raising a son and a daughter together. One of their children has been named Micah.
