Anne Heche And Husband Coleman Laffoon Children & Custody Battle That Became A Family Issue

The former couple was renegotiating their child support agreement to consider changes in income and shared parenting arrangements for their son. Coleman Laffon is the ex-husband of Anne Heche, with whom he has a son.

Anne Heche was involved in an automobile accident in August 2022 that resulted in a trip to the intensive care unit. According to a Los Angeles Police investigation, her racing car ran off the road and struck a house, igniting it.

Heche sustained significant burns from the collision even though no other injuries have been reported. She appeared stable on Sunday, but a protracted recovery is anticipated.

To account for their shared custody of their son Homer and changes in their shared income, the former couple Anne Heche and Coleman Laffoon are renegotiating their child support agreement.

By court documents obtained exclusively by DailyMail.com, Heche and Laffoon’s divorce was finalized in March 2009, and the actress was ordered to pay a $500,000 lump amount and $3,700 per month in child support.

At the time of the settlement, Heche, now 47, had recently concluded filming ABC’s Men in Trees, for which she was reportedly paid $80,000 per episode.

Even before the divorce papers were filed, there were rumors that Heche and her Men in Trees co-star James Tupper had a love relationship. Atlas was born to her and Tupper in 2009; they are still together. When Laffoon, 42, requested a divorce from The Six Days Seven Nights actress in February 2007, he cited irreconcilable differences.

Two sons born to Anne from two different relationships make her a proud mother. Homer, born on March 2, 2002, is shared by Anne and her ex-husband Coleman Laffoon.

Homer frequently appeared in public as a child with his mother, going to several premieres and performances. Atlas Heche Tupper, her second child, was born in 2009.

He is the child of James Tupper, an actor from Men in Trees, whom Anne dated up until 2018. In March 2022, Heche celebrated Atlas turning 16 by posting a photo of them together on social media.

Heche was involved in an automobile accident on Friday, August 5, 2022, leaving her in a very severe condition. Homer, the eldest child, is taking the initiative and fighting for his mother’s medical attention.

Anne Heche Taken Off Life Support – No Chance Of Her Survival

After last Friday’s horrible vehicle accident involving the Emmy-winning actor Anne Heche, her family and friends prayed for a miracle. Her loved ones now have decided to move her from life support after she was declared brain dead since it didn’t arrive.

Until it can be established whether any organs that weren’t harmed in the crash and the ensuing fire may be given, she is kept on a ventilator.

We appreciate everyone’s assistance and for their prayers and well wishes for Anne’s recovery, as well as to the great nurses and hardworking staff. They looked after Anne at the Grossman Burn Center at West Hills hospital.

Sadly, Anne Heche’s accident caused a severe anoxic brain injury, and she is still in a critical state and a coma. A representative for Heche’s family and friends informed Deadline that she is not expected to live.
