According to the Miami Herald, the former student body president had always wanted to attend an Ivy League school and applied to all eight after a friend pushed her to shoot her shot. She has always wished to attend an Ivy League university. So, in late autumn, she applied to not just one but all eight.

Ashley Adirika, a Florida teenager, became the topic of the internet in April after being admitted to 27 schools and institutions and receiving $4 million (Rs 30 crore) in scholarship offers. She is one of the rare students accepted into all eight Ivy League colleges. But she has not publicly revealed her exact sat score.

Each Ivy League school has accepted less than 12% of its applications since 2018. Yale accepted 4.5 percent of applicants this year, Columbia 3.7 percent, and Harvard only 3.2 percent, the lowest amount in the university’s history.
Ashley, was also admitted to seven more prestigious universities, including Stanford, Vanderbilt, and Emory. She chose Harvard, where she will study government in the autumn.
She has torn between Harvard & Yale, but it all came down to her professional goals. Her objective is to have a strong understanding of how government operates & how policies might assist communities with economic inequality.

On March 31, 2022, she got the results of her applications. Ashley got letters of admission from each of the eight Ivy League schools to which she applied.
