Cade Otton Met His Beautiful Wife Sierra Otton While In 8th Grade In Tumwater

Cade Otton and his wife Sierra Otton first met during a basketball game in eighth grade. Cade married Sierra in January 2021.

Childhood sweethearts Cade and Sierra have been together for 12 years.

Born on April 15, 1999, Otton is originally from Tumwater, Washington. He went to Tumwater High School, where he started playing football.

He was introduced to the game of football when he was four and was coached by his other family members, who were athletes themselves. During high school, Cade was named as All-Area Football Player of the Year by The Olympian newspaper, which made him receive offers from different universities. 

Otton decided to commit to the University of Washington and played college football there till his senior year. In the 2020 college football season, he was named in All-Pac-12 as well. 

The primary Tight End of the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, he was drafted in the fourth round of the 2022 NFL Draft as the 106th overall pick. Bought in to replace the retiring Rob Gronkowski, Cade has had an impressive start to his career.

For his rookie season, he has registered 42 receptions, to go along with 391 yards and 2 TDs in his short NFL career.

He has been accompanied and supported by his spouse and loved ones throughout his career.

Cade Otton wife Sierra Snyder met him at school in Tumwater. Cade and Sierra went to the homecoming dance together and have been inseparable since then.

After dating for some time, they saw an opportunity and decided to commit to each other. In the Issuu magazine interview, Cade mentioned that his partner supports him and helps him a lot with the football stuff. 

Cade said that his sweetheart loves to study and is often seen watching his football clips. 

Before finally tying the knot, the couple experienced a rollercoaster of high school experiences, including long distances due to his athletic career.

Cade Otton Married Life Explored

Cade Otton married his long-term girlfriend Sierra on January 9, 2021, in the attendance of their close friends and loved ones. 

Otton proposed to his girlfriend in October 2020 with a beautiful diamond ring.

For their wedding, the couple also had a beautiful photoshoot.

The first picture he posted with Sierra was during their prom in 2017. 

During Sierra’s birthday in March 2022, her husband posted their pictures together and mentioned that she fills his life with joy, depth, laughter, and adventures, and he is extremely happy to be a part of it too.

Cade Otton Family Members Were Former Athletes

Cade Otton comes from a family of football players. Cade gives credit to his loved ones for being his biggest source of inspiration for being an athlete. 

Otton belongs to the state’s most prominent football families. His grandfather, Sid Otton was an avid football player and was also his head coach when he was at Tumwater.

His grandfather was Washington’s high school coach and as a player, he finished with a 394-131 record that included 25 league championships, 27 state playoff appearances, and six different state titles. 

Cade’s father, Tim Otton worked as a defensive coordinator at the Thunderbirds. Similarly, his uncle Brad Otton played as a former quarterback for USC. 

Now, his younger brother Ryan has also been playing football at Tumwater and he has already received many offers from UW, UCLA, West Virginia, and many more. 

Cade mentioned that he finally became a ballboy when he was in eighth grade and the love and support that he received him his fellow football loving family has helped him a lot. 

Sadly, his mother Sally passed away last year in September 2022. It was just two days after her son made his first NFL reception against New Orleans, Cade was really affected by the loss as he was really close to his mother.

He mentioned that the family members were completely unaware of what she was going through, as she always seemed completely strong and fine. 

Cade posted some pictures with his mother and mentioned that she was the brightest person who always saw good in everything. The family was still grieving, and he mentioned that he will miss her a lot.
