According to a LinkedIn profile, she is a graduate of Rajarata University.

Samaranayake has been teaching at a local school. The most recent video uploaded on her Youtube channel shows Samaranayake celebrating her birthday. She was born on July 7, thus it makes her Cancer, as per the zodiac sign. Judging by her photos, she must be in her mid-twenties.
