Ingrid Croce’s Husband Jim Croce’s Death
James Joseph Croce, commonly known as Jim Croce was a folk and rock singer-songwriter. Between the years 1966 and 1973, he released five studio albums and several single tracks.
While he did a variety of side jobs to pay his bills during his amateur career, he continued to write, record, and play concerts.
The legend died on September 20, 1973, in Natchitoches Regional Airport, Louisiana, at 30 years old. Croce lost his life in a plane crash on his way to Sherman, Texas, with his band to perform at a college.

In detail, after departing the runway, the jet (Beechcraft E18S) gained height but crashed after failing to clear a pecan tree standing approximately 250 yards past the runway.
The incident was later attributed to the pilot error and Jim Croce along with his bandmate, tour manager, booking agent, and a couple of others had to lose their life.

Ingrid Croce’s Family Life And Children
Ingrid was married to Jim on August 28, 1966. She has a son A.J. Croce (Adrian James Croce) with her late husband Jim.
A.J., her 50-year-old son is also a musician and well-known performer. After the death of her husband, Ingrid reportedly was in a relationship with a man who abused her son A.J. leading to temporary blindness.
A.J. was only four years old at that time, and he eventually regained his vision. In 1994, he married Marlo Croce, and the couple has two kids together.
