John Eastman And Linda McCartney Are Related As Brother And Sister, Family Is Mourning The Attorney

Linda Mccartney and John Eastman are related and have a brother-sister relationship. Linda started her photography career in the middle of the 1960s. She was also recognized as the keyboardist for the band Wings.

A well-known American attorney and his sister Linda shared a special relationship. They grew up together in Lincoln, Nebraska, the United States, with their two younger sisters, Laura and Louise Jr.

John and his younger sister Linda shared a special bond. He encouraged her to advance in her work and made her feel at ease opening up to him. Similar to Linda, John was her ideal companion and pillar of support.

Lee Eastman, Linda’s father, was a legal advisor in the entertainment industry. He stepped in for Paul McCartney, the lead singer of The Beatles, as his business manager.

 The Father of John Eastman was a New York City-based American show business lawyer and art collector. He was the child of Russian immigrants Louis and Stella (Freyer) Epstein, who came to the US in 1906.

Linda McCartney, the first spouse of former Beatle Paul McCartney, was one of his four children. Shortly before The Beatles disbanded, Eastman took on the role of McCartney’s business manager. His son John served as McCartney’s legal representative in the 1970 lawsuit to formally dissolve the band.

He is the paternal grandfather of musician/sculptor James McCartney, photographer Mary McCartney, potter Heather McCartney, and designers Stella McCartney and Heather McCartney.

The abstract expressionist painter Willem de Kooning’s works were also collected by Eastman, his friend, longstanding attorney, and lawyer. His sister Rose Frisch became a renowned scientist focused on population studies and women’s fertility concerns.

John Eastman passed away today at the age of 83, but pancreatic cancer was what killed him. Paul McCartney announced his passing on Twitter, which is how we found out.

McCartney retained John to represent him in his 1970 lawsuit to dissolve the band formally. His grandchildren include the sculptor and musician James McCartney, the photographer Mary McCartney, the potter Heather McCartney, and the designers Stella and Heather McCartney.

Eastman, a friend and longtime client of Willem de Kooning’s and a lawyer, also acquired some of the artist’s works. His sister Rose Frisch became a well-known scientist specializing in population studies and women’s reproductive issues.
