Mallory was given a chance to practice as a dentist at the office run by his father. He began his practice in Lansing in 1990 because he was committed to developing himself.

He has been managing the business as a licensed dentist up to this point. However, given that two of his sons work as dentists, the talented dentist must also be a role model for his children.

Whitmer formerly held positions in the Michigan State Senate from 2006 to 2015 and the Michigan House of Representatives from 2001 to 2006. She was the first woman to head a caucus in the California Senate when she was elected Democratic minority leader in 2011.

Due to term restrictions, Whitmer decided not to seek reelection in 2014. In 2016, she held the position of Ingham County prosecutor after leaving the legislature.
