The injuries was difficult for him, but he is proud to be battling and to have the support of his family.

He was now tied for 56th, two strokes outside the top 67. He received his first Web.com Tour card in 2017 and returned in 2018.

He had not performed well enough to qualify for the Web.com Tour playoffs until tying for fourth in the WinCo Foods Portland Classic in August.

He demonstrated this early in his golf career, when he chose a double black diamond educational path that was more difficult than playing Oakmont in the wind.

Knous, a standout high school student who excelled in math and physics, enrolled at the Colorado School of Mines, a prestigious engineering school in Golden, Colorado.
