Futuristic physicist Michio Kaku recently appeared as a guest on the Joe Rogan podcast to talk about UFOs, alien civilization, and the multiverse. People are eager to find out about the physicist’s religion and his family and ethnical background.
Michio Kaku is an American theoretical physicist who is currently teaching as a professor of theoretical physics at the City College of New York.

Michio Kaku Religion – What Is His Faith?

The co-founder of string field theory quotes Galileo and says that religion is about how you go to heaven while science is about how the heavens go. And as for the physicist, he is more interested in learning more about how the heavens go.

Physicist Kakualso talked about the existence of God not being testable and reproducible. He also does not straight up deny the existence of God, though. He talks about not being able to justify or deny the existence of God and compares God to the Big Bang.
He believes religion to be ethics and balances ethics with his science perfectly, answering questions about his faith and religion objectively.
Michio Kaku Family
Michio Kaku was born to second-generation Japanese American parents on January 24, 1947, in San Jose, California, US. Although the name of Dr. Kaku’s parents is unknown, he revealed that they were both born in California and met during World War II.
The 75-year-old physicist has his own little family of four with his wife, Shizue Kaku, and two daughters, Alyson and Michele.
While not much information is available regarding his wife but one of his daughters, Michele Kaku, is the assistant professor and director of Boston University Medicine’s neurology residency program.
She talked about her father and what it was like to be raised by a renowned physicist, saying ,
“Looking back, I think explaining the complicated ideas behind these projects to us as kids helped him to figure out how to communicate about science to the masses.”
Michio Kaku’s Ethnicity Explored
Dr. Michio Kaku has American and Japanese ethnical backgrounds. The renowned physicist was born to second-generation Japanese American parents who are known as Nisei in the Japanese language.
The best-selling author’s grandfather was brought to the United States for the cleanup operation after the earthquake in San Francisco in 1906.
Both his parents were born in America and met in the concentration camps for Japanese Americans during World War II.
So, despite belonging to the Japanese ethnicity, Dr. Michio Kaku is an American who has contributed a lot to the world of science and physics.
