Norma Storch, the wife of Larry Storch,  died on August 28, 2003. Her story has also been featured in the PBS documentary, which has won an Emmy award.

The documentary titled ” Secret Daughter” was released in the year 1996. It was Storch’s daughter June Cross, who had produced the film. The film portrays the story of race relations in the 50s and 60s. It also talks about the emotional bravery of a mother and a daughter.

Norma Storch is the wife of actor Larry Storch. Her husband was a well-established comedian known for some iconic TV and cartoon roles.

Two of Larry’s famous works are in as Mr. Whoopee on Tennessee Tuxedo and His Tales and F Troop. Some of his other memorable TV appearances are in ‘Get Smart’, ‘Mannix, Sargeant Bikko’, ‘The Persuaders’, ‘Gomer Pyle’, ‘CHIPS’, ‘Car 54’, and many more.

Norma Storch aka Norma Catherine Grieve was born on April 6, 1922, in Pocatello, Idaho. She was a veteran actress.

Larry married Norma Storch on July 10, 1961. The actress has also appeared in The Woman Hunter alongside Larry. However, her most iconic role comes in her film The Perils of P.K., released in the year 1986, and The Six Million Dollar man, released in 1973. 

Norma and Larry were married until August 28, 2003, until her death at the age of 81.

What Happened To Norma Storch?

Norma Storch passed away at the age of 81 years. She was diagnosed with cancer and she took her last breath at her home in New York.

Similarly, Larry Storch also recently died in his sleep on Tuesday, July 7, 2022. He was 99 years old at the time of his demise. The legendary actor’s passing was announced on his official Facebook page.

The published statement read: “It is with the heaviest of hearts that we share with you the news our beloved Larry passed away in his sleep overnight. We are shocked and at a loss for words at the moment.”

“Please remember he loved each and every one of you and wouldn’t want you to cry over his passing. He is reunited with his wife Norma and his beloved F Troop cast and so many friends and family.”

Family Facts: Where Are Lary Storch & Norma Storch’s Children Now?

Larry and Norma Storch were parents to altogether three children.

Before meeting Larry Storch, Norma Greve married Jack May, a professional surfer. She had a son named Lary May with him.

After Norma’s divorce from May in the year 1945, she moved to Los Angeles to start a career in acting. Then in 1974, she had a brief romance with Larry Storch and gave birth to a daughter named Candace Herman in the year 1948. Candace was put on for adoption but later reunited.

Interestingly, Norma also had a daughter named June Cross, born in the year 1954. The actress had a brief relationship with a black song and dance man Jimmy Cross, who was stump performing for the Stump and Stumpy team.

As June matured, Norma began to receive racist reactions from the people. Unfortunately, she requested a middle-class black couple to raise June. The actress used to write to June every day, which later helped in producing the hit documentary “Secret Daughter”.

According to the NY Times, Larry became a professor at the University of Minnesota. He and June helped their mother to make the documentary. In the later stage of her life, Norma got to reconcile with her children. The whole family lived happily in Manhattan.
