Who Is Raheel Ahmed? Sania Khan Photographer Ex Husband From Georgia
Raheel Ahmed drove from his home in Georgia and shot and killed his ex-wife Sania Khan in her apartment in Streeterville.
According to reports, police in Alpharetta, Georgia, asked for a well-being check on Raheel Ahmed, 36, and sent officers to the building in the 200 block of East Ohio Street at 4:30 p.m. He was missing from the Atlanta suburb where he lived, according to his family.
An officer from Alpharetta informed Chicago police that Ahmed and his wife, Sania Khan, 29, were “going through a divorce.” He came here “to save the marriage” because he was depressed. However, according to two of Khan’s friends, their divorce was concluded in May.

Chicago police received information about Ahmed from Alpharetta officials, who also disclosed to them that he and his wife, Sania Khan, were divorcing.
Khan was discovered unresponsive near the door, shot in the back of the head, with dried blood on her face. Ahmed was found in a bedroom and also shot in the head, according to the reports.
According to sources, he was found with a 9mm Glock handgun and a suicide note close by. Khan was declared dead at the scene and later passed away at Northwestern Memorial Hospital.
Sania and Raheel broke up last winter and a divorced month later. The medical examiner’s office determined that Sania Khan’s death was a homicide, whereas Raheel Ahmed’s death was categorized as a suicide.
Sania Khan, a photographer, said on her website that she had relocated to Chicago in June of last year from Chattanooga, Tennessee, where she had grown up.

Chicago police received information about Ahmed from Alpharetta officials, who also disclosed to them that he and his wife, Sania Khan, were divorcing. Officers responded to the building in the 200 block of East Ohio Street at around 4:30 p.m.
A single gunshot and “a vocal groan” were heard as the officers knocked on the door, according to the reports.
When the police entered, they discovered Ahmed in a bedroom with a head wound and found Khan lying near the entrance with an unconscious gunshot wound.
Khan was a photographer who focused on capturing images of happy couples and weddings. Khan pursued two majors in college: psychology and women’s studies, while concurrently starting her photography business.
Following her employment as a social worker, she changed careers to that of a flight attendant “to support herself becoming a traveling photographer” before dedicating her entire time to her chosen field.

Sania decided to file for divorce from her husband Ahmed as a result of the domestic abuse. In the winter of last year, she made the decision to split with her husband Ahmed.
